Liked this concept for ‘stitch your own furniture’ by designer Oscar Nunez. Apart from being a low-cost option, this could also be developed into an eco-friendly product. A really potent idea…..

The ‘One-to-Three-for-Five’??

As the title suggests, this is a simple, elegant box table that opens up from one piece into three pieces in not more than five seconds! Designed by John Nouanesing, who also calls it ‘not another cube’. Neat!

A Social Seat?

Posted in furniture design, interior design with tags , , , on September 3, 2008 by anonimiss

This concept for social seating by Tad Turnmire had me excited. His goal was to create seating for informal areas where people will be meeting and interacting in small groups for short periods of time. It offers the flexibility to use the side ends as either a ‘table’ where one can easily lay his bag or books, etc. or a ‘seat’ when a small group wants to interact. I liked the shape and the colors, think it would be really good in an airport, railway station or even a huge mall. Way to go Tad…..

The ‘Anonimus’ Stool

Well, the name is not the only reason I liked the ‘Anonimus Stool’ designed by Zeus. Its sleek, simple and could be used in any space, be it an office, home, bar or any other public space. The stool is complemented by a set of bar and tea tables. Very stylish…..Of course, the name just adds to its charm!
